John Larroquette As Prosecutor Dan Fielding
People couldn’t get enough of John Larroquette in the role of prosecutor Daniel R. “Dan” Fielding. His performance in Night Court earned him four straight Emmy wins (1985-1988) in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He must have gotten tired of winning all the time because, in 1989, he asked producers not to submit him for another award.
After the show, the actor created The John Larroquette Show. He also frequently appeared on The Practice and Boston Legal. Recently, he had a recurring role on the TNT series The Librarians.
