There are ways to treat the effects of arthritis with medication, but people who suffer from arthritis can also make changes in their diets to help them ease their pain.

Eat Egg Whites Only

Eggs are delicious little packages of protein that can be cooked up in a variety of ways. Even though eggs are very healthy for most people, they contain some compounds than can worsen arthritis symptoms.

Eggs are high in cholesterol and egg yolks contain a lot of saturated fat. Also, the yolks have arachidonic acid, which produces prostaglandin and causes inflammation. You don’t have to give up eggs entirely if you have arthritis, just stick to eating just the egg whites.
