Following Italy, we have Spain. Spain’s GDP per capita measured in at $40,138 in 2018. Back in 2007, Spain went through a significant financial crisis. Clearly, the country was able to slowly recover and it now sits at the number 26 spot on our list.
That recovery really started to become evident in 2015 when Spain’s GDP increased by 3.2 percent. The country was able to recover 85% of its lost GDP. Unemployment is still an issue in Spain, but hopefully, in time, the country’s job market will see even more growth.
