While it might be satisfying after a set of lifting to drop your weights on the ground, it’s a habit best left in the privacy of your home gym. If you don’t have a home gym, please don’t disrupt other people around you by making this loud, and pointless noise.

Not only is the noise a distraction, but dropping heavy gym equipment can also be a major safety hazard. It doesn’t matter how tired you are, you should always place your equipment back on the rack as politely as possible.
